Gordon + Tedra || Elopement, Old Milford, OH

I was so happy when Tedra contacted me about their Elopement. This couple is so sweet and nice, so not to fall in love with them is a real challenge. Their first date was in Old Milford, OH and it's absolutely amazing that we had an opportunity to take pictures at the place where their new chapter of life began. They are so gentle with each other and so deeply in love! I wish you could feel the love through the pics!

HOW DID THEY MEET: Gordon and I connected online about 6 months before meeting, it wasn’t until right after my mom passed away that we actually had our first date. I say all the time that Mom brought Gordon to me from heaven and helped us begin our life together.

THEIR FIRST DATE: Gordon and I had our first date in Old Milford. We met for coffee, which turned into a walk around town, a stop at an outdoor store where he bought me my favorite Nalgene bottle and then dinner and drinks. We both left that evening knowing it was something amazing and we’ve been together since.

HOW HE PROPOSED: We’d talked about marriage from the beginning of our relationship, but happened to be on a Southern Caribbean cruise with my cousins when we found THE ring. It’s a beautiful heart shape that I still stare at all the time! We had made our way to a beautiful beach on St. Maarten after a day of exploring when Gordon gathered my family around. He talked about our journey together, our love and I immediately started crying the happiest of tears when he dropped to one knee and I heard “will you marry me?”! Of course I said YES! YES! YES! and we spent the rest of our trip celebrating!
