Eric + Arin || Wedding, Laurel Court, Cincinnati

The met each other on FACEBOOK! Social media works for sure! This wedding will give you allllllll the design inspiration, including a FABULOUS wedding dress, matched bridesmaid dresses, and a perfect color palette. I'm obsessing over this gallery so so much. It looks like a European Fairy tale, thanks to the Laurel Court. The award-winning gardens, onsite mansion, were not only gorgeous backdrops, but they set the tone for the entire celebration. While the bride Arin stunned in an elegant designer gown and the groom Eric looked dapper in a classic tux, their wedding party and guests chose attire to match the wedding color palette, which gave the entire day a formal (but not stuffy) look. Troy + Sara, 10 years wedding anniversary || Union Terminal, Cincinnati

The couple on the blog today is so special — they are celebrating 10 years of marriage!! Sara and Troy got married when they were young and they have been through so much together over the past ten years. Their story, like all of ours, is one of both growth and triumph. They are passionate about CHOOSING to love your spouse day in and day out, about being proactive in their marriage and always seeking ways to grow closer and deeper, and also about having FUN! For their 10 year anniversary session, I LOVE that these two wanted to take photos right where it all began. So we did the session at the spot where they committed their lives to one another a decade ago. Union Terminal, Cincinnati w

Tom + BreeAnna || Wedding at the barn, Brookville, Ohio

BreeAnna and Thomas’s wedding was amazing! BreeAnna included so many personal touches that made their day unique and so much fun to photograph - those invitations and wedding rings box are my personal favorites! The weather started out rainy but made for some dramatic and touching photos. Their ceremony was at Thoma's family property in Brooksville, OH which was filled with a warm atmosphere. The reception was the best decorated in rustic style! All of the details were perfect and I can say hands down, it was one of the most fun receptions I've ever photographed! Mr. & Mrs.Wright - I hope that you two are having the time of your life as a family! Loved celebrating the start of your marriage

Jacob + Michaela, E-session || Ault park, Hyde Park, Cincinnati

OH MY GOODNESS, FRIENDS, I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR THESE ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS IN DOWNTOWN CINCINNATI. I sincerely enjoyed my time there with Jacob and Michaela. Like, I’m a little intimidated by their sense of style BIG TIME. How do they look so badass and adorable at the same time? #GOALS. They were SO much fun to shoot with. They ran around and played with each other, Jacob was joking around constantly. It was hilarious, and I for real enjoyed their company so much! They’re kind, charismatic, and they definitely don’t take life too seriously which is my kind of couple! We hit all kinds of spots in the area we were in, before heading to the Hyde Park. There was a cute coffee shop and even just t

Martin + Sarah || Wedding at Bell Event Center, Cincinnati

Today’s real wedding is a stunner: beautiful bride Sarah wears her GRANDMA's wedding gown ( I LOVE when people keep their traditions), while her bridesmaids simply shine in blue. Groom Martin looks amazing in his suit. That was the first wedding with the log cutting ceremony. An old German wedding custom, the tradition of cutting a log represents the first obstacle that the couple must overcome in their marriage. They must work together to “overcome the obstacle” by sawing through the log. Using a large, long saw with two handles, the couple demonstrates their teamwork to friends and family, and their willingness and ability to master the difficulties that inevitably arise in a marriage.
