Tom + BreeAnna || Wedding at the barn, Brookville, Ohio
BreeAnna and Thomas’s wedding was amazing! BreeAnna included so many personal touches that made their day unique and so much fun to photograph - those invitations and wedding rings box are my personal favorites! The weather started out rainy but made for some dramatic and touching photos. Their ceremony was at Thoma's family property in Brooksville, OH which was filled with a warm atmosphere. The reception was the best decorated in rustic style! All of the details were perfect and I can say hands down, it was one of the most fun receptions I've ever photographed!
Mr. & Mrs.Wright - I hope that you two are having the time of your life as a family! Loved celebrating the start of your marriage and wishing you many years of happiness to come.
HOW DID YOU MEET EACH OTHER?
Thomas and I met each other when we were 17. I was actually dating someone else at the time. A few years later, after college, he messaged me out of the blue and we had a great conversation catching up. He asked me out for drinks, but I stubbornly kept re-scheduling on him. Finally, he visited me at the sports bar I worked at one night and we talked here and there during my shift. After that, he would stop by when I was working because he "accidentally missed his exit" a few times a week. He took me out to breakfast one morning, and after that I was hooked. We moved in together after he bought a house in Cincinnati just 3 months into our relationship - it was the most gutsy thing I've ever done in a relationship, and it's the best decision we ever made. Still getting to know each other on a deeper level and only having each other really helped us to focus on just us. We are not only madly in love with each other, but since day one we have been best friends.
HOW HE PROPOSED?
Thomas planned the proposal for an entire year. We had been dating for about 3 years at the time that he went to Savannah, Georgia for the first time for work. He called me every night he was there to tell me how much I would love it there and how we had to come back together to experience everything. While he was there, he bought me a handmade leather wristlet from a boutique owned by a former art student. He made up his mind he wanted to propose in Savannah and asked the owner if she knew any photography friends in Savannah that could help take pictures of the big moment. He had everything set to the historic square where it was all going to happen. Fast forward to a year later, we booked our trip to Savannah. The first day we got in early and tried all the flood and drinks we could before checking in to the hotel. I was surprised because before we went to dinner, we told me to take my time getting ready (rarely does he ever say that). While I got ready, we went across the street to get the photographer and let him know we were ready. He came back up the room, grabbed my hand and walked me to the elevator. I still had no idea. We walked out back of the hotel and he said, "Let's go check out this square." We walked up to the square, he looked me in my eyes and said, "You know how much I love you right?" I immediately got teary-eyed. He dropped down to one knee and popped the question and with tears in my eyes, and in utter shock, I said YES. We celebrated with a few locals at one of our favorite restaurant later that night!
