Harry + Taylor || Wiedemann Hill Mansion, Kentucky
Harry & Taylor got married on probably the windiest day of the wedding season. But despite mother nature’s humor, everyone had a wonderful day. Harry & Taylor had a very intimate ceremony with their closest friends and family at Wiedemann Hill Mansion, Kentucky. They bravely headed outside for some portraits. This wedding venue is super unique. I love the huge porch that wrap around the charming lights. There were so many fun details, like antique statues and eclectic vases.
I have to mention that Harry is from England and the international couples are my fav for sure.
HOW THEY MET:
We met at a 1940's themed New Year's Eve Party in London in 2014. (I was there on a school trip for NKU and that was our free night to do whatever we wanted). We were both in the drinks line and he came over and introduced himself. We talked all night and had our first date a week later (the day before I was supposed to leave to the US again). We didn't see each other for another year and a half when he was able to come over to where I lived.
HOW HARRY PROPOSED:
We dated long distance until he proposed in 2017. We took a trip to San Francisco in April that year. The day he proposed we went to the beach. We were walking around and he said we should sit down and watch the waves for a little while. I was looking out at the ocean when he held my hand and I looked over at him and he had the ring out. He said, "Taylor, will you make me the happiest man alive and marry me?" and of course I said yes. It was a year later when he was approved to come over to the United States and we were finally able to plan our dream wedding.
The best part of the wedding for me was to photograph the bridal party with Taylor and Harry and their best friends.
