Ariel & Cody || The Monastery Event Center || Cincinnati, OH
Getting ready at Phels and first looking at Lytle Hotel was the best decision so far. Ariel's style for weddings is one of the best I've recently seen. Her attention to detail is unbelievable. Shoes, dresses, jewelry. I was in wedding details paradise.
I did a lilt bit of searching on the Internet about what was a Jewish wedding and what the ceremony means. Cody and Ariel's wedding are steeped in tradition and was so meaningful. The wedding ceremony was at The Monastery (one of my fav venues) under a canopy called a chuppah, which symbolizes the new home the couple will build together. During the ceremony, Ariel and Cody exchanged vows and rings and Cody broke a glass to symbolize the destruction of the Temple in Jerusalem.
I personally like traditions so much and especially for wedding ceremonies. Following the ceremony, the wedding reception was Jewish dances, such as the Hora, which involves dancing in a circle while holding hands, And you know what? They had a blast. Everybody had a blast, it was so so so so much fun.
The ceremony and dances were lively and energetic, with family and friends coming together to celebrate Cody and Ariel's wedding. As true Bengals fans, they brought the tiger and nailed the floor. I want to repeat that reception, so much fun!
